Anglesey Walking Holidays
Anglesey Walking Holidays is an award-winning company offering guided and self-guided walks along the Isle of Anglesey’s Coastal Path, now part of the all Wales Coast Path.
Whether you are interested in historical sites, flora and fauna, wildlife, geology, or just wanting to enjoy the fresh Anglesey air and the stunning views, you are certain to have an excellent day out with Anglesey Walking Holidays.
Join us on a guided walk led by an experienced and knowledgeable expert, who will take you on a historical journey into Anglesey’s exhilarating past. Discover the story behind the World Heritage Site, Beaumaris Castle and how Joseph Hansom of the Hansom cab fame came to build the local gaol. All this interspersed with sites connected with the English King John, the Welsh Viking prince who was born in Dublin and the early Celtic saints. (6 miles/8 km)
If you prefer a self-guided walk, one of our team members will pick you up from Tre-Ysgawen and transfer you to the path on the east coast from Moelfre to Lynas (total 11 miles/19 km easy walking, but this can be curtailed to suit you). You will be de-briefed by our expert who will handover OS maps and detailed route planners, which have all the information you need – details of the walk, historical, local and tidal information. We will then pick you up at the end of the day and transfer you back to your hotel.
Let the local Walking experts lead you every step of the way…..
