Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel was built in 1882 as a country mansion house and family home, owned by the Pritchard-Rayner family. The family moved in exalted circles, not just in Britain but also in Europe. Family members took part in the Anglesey Hunt from 1895 and on into the twentieth century. Post hunt dinners and balls were often held at Tre-Ysgawen Hall.
In 1996 the house was aquired by a Charitable Trust and after renovations became the Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel. It was decided that this should be a family run business and management of the hotel was taken over by the Rowlands family, and in the late nineteen nineties additional rooms and a spa were added to the existing facilities.
Tre-Ysgawen Hall is renowned throughout Anglesey for its beautiful rooms and surroundings and its fine dining.
